Home improvement writer, organization enthusiast, and the person who actually tested every tip on this site.

Why I Started ReviewDecoder
I have lived in small apartments, rented rooms with questionable storage, and dealt with kitchens that had exactly two drawers. Every “solution” I found online either required a $200 budget or a professional contractor. I started ReviewDecoder because I was tired of advice that assumed everyone had a garage, a toolkit, and a weekend free.
The tips here are what I have actually tried. Some worked immediately. Some failed the first time and I had to figure out why. I write about both.
What I Write About
- Cleaning Tips: Methods that do not require expensive products or harsh chemicals.
- DIY & Fixes: Repairs I have done myself — and the mistakes I made so you do not have to.
- Home Improvement: Small changes that make a noticeable difference without major renovation.
- Home Organization: Systems that work in real spaces, not Pinterest-perfect rooms.
My Approach
I test everything before I write about it. If I recommend a method for removing grease from surfaces, it is because I used it on my own kitchen counters. If I suggest an under-bed storage system, it is because I have measured the clearance and loaded the containers.
I do not claim to be a professional contractor or an interior designer. I am someone who has spent years figuring out how to make a home work better with limited space, limited money, and limited patience. That is the perspective I bring to every article.
